• Ineffective leadership: Brigadier Maake fails to meet performance expectations but fails to demonstrate effective leadership.
• Failure to meet objectives: The station commander does not achieve key performance indicators departmental goals, such as reducing crime and improving community relations. This supported by a media article titled "Residents: 'Male cops should just wear dresses!"

2. Disciplinary Actions

• Misconduct or unethical behavior: The commander is abusing power, or violating department policies this can be supported by a media report titled "Diepkloof police station commander accused of trying to 'bully' admin clerk out of her job.

• Complaints by community: Serious complaints community such as , especially if they involve harassment, discrimination, or lack of accountability this can be supported by the case of Koketso Lekgoathi, 23, whose lifeless body was found in Diepkloof Zone 4, Johannesburg, on 7 October 2024. She was assaulted, strangled, and beaten to death by her boyfriend. The suspect was arrested by the police but released a few hours later. The community marched peacefully to the police station to raise fraustrations but the opposite happened, community members were arrested
