Flood Lights at Baisley Pond Cricket Field
We are requesting flood lights to be installed at Baisley Pond Cricket Field location in Queens, NY @ the corner of Baisley Blvd. & Rockaway Blvd. This will encourage the youths to play more competitive T20 cricket in the late afternoons.
Currently, the field is permitted for Adult play during the weekends leaving the youths with limited opportunities to play competitive cricket. The NYC Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) currently runs a T20 Cricket League from April - June which is not enough for youth cricket development. We are hoping that the installation of flood lights will create more opportunities for the youngsters to play competitive cricket.
