WE DEMAND VIDEO OF BALDWIN PARK'S DOGS' BEHAVIOR

THE VOICELESS

We, the public demand from the ones in charge of these animals' lives a complete disclosure of the specific "behaviors" and "observations" that determine the destruction of these animals' lives.


We will no longer tolerate and accept the overly-simplified and overly-used label of "aggressive" to pts these animals. "Aggression" is highly subjective to the perception of the person and does not clearly indicate the SPECIFIC behaviors that deemed the perception, subsequently the subjective description and label "aggressive."

On numerous occasions, I'm sure we have particular stories to tell, how dogs have been saved, despite being labeled “aggressive” by the owners and the shelters. These “aggressive” dogs according to testimonials, have been some of the most loving pets.

Unless and until our voices are heard by the shelters and our elected officials that this labeling of "aggression" in animals without documentation of the specific "behaviors" and "observations," these dogs will continue to be destroyed without justice and without voice.

WE DEMAND VIDEO DURING TEMPERAMENT TESTING AND SPECIFIC BEHAVIORS WHICH LEAD TO THEIR DEATH!

Shelter workers are assessing and LABELING dogs as aggressive with ABSOLUTELY NO TRAINING IN ANIMAL BEHAVIOR. They are sealing the fate of these dogs. Once labeled as aggressive, they are no longer permitted to be adopted by the general public and are rescue only. These ignoramuses do not realize that these dogs are in a highly stressful environment. Surrounded by the incessant barking and crying of dogs in terror. They can smell the death in the air. They have had their families walk away from them and they are confused - many have been outright dumped out in unfamiliar areas to fend for themselves and end up in these God forsaken places. They are TERRIFIED. They are cornered in a kennel in this environment and consistently stared at by people - unable to get away, no escape. And out of the complete ignorance of these shelter workers, they label these poor dogs. This HAS TO CHANGE! They are killing these innocent souls who have already been failed by the people who they love. One final blow or uncaring ignorance before they lose they're lives at the hands of these subhumans.
