The crime in this country, particularly Cape Town cannot be ignored any longer! We are not safe our homes, on the roads nor in the malls. No where to go and no where to hide! What type of life is this that we now have to live in South Africa? If we can't look to our government to protect us then we have to leave. If this is how we living today what are children's lives going to be like when they have families? Sad, dissapointed and ashamed to call this my country

I fear for the safety of myslef ,my brothers and husband esp. And the rest of my family and friends and everybody else. anywhere we go we are not safe. All the kidnapping, robbery ,hijacking is getting out of control.

I say if you take a life, rape or hurt someone regardless, you loose your human right. In this country it is the reverse, the only way to combat this problem is with violence, they don't fear SAP cause a large percentage is corrupt, our government is useless they too are also corrupt.It is up to all of us the forcefully take back our streets. Peaceful marches and appeals falls on deaf ears, give Pagad free reign !!

I've signed this petition cos the current situation we living in is pathetic, living in fear, gangsters ruling our communities..ppl get killed everyday. I want the govt to intervene and I want our children to be able to play in their parks and make the community drug free and a gun free zone. Not once have I seen our ward counsellor in our streets while this shooting takes place. No one came to reassure us as the community that everything will be fine...makes me think and wonder if they are only here to be a passenger on the gravy train.

So sick of crime, all I want is to live in peace n harmony, we are prisoners in our own home! Not safe anywhere.

No visible policing either, crimminals can do as thy please, we pay our rates n taxes on time n faithfully but thy can invade our privacy..thy have free reign of everything.

Can't even sit on my stoep n read a book too scared who gona attack me, very bad, what about the elderly? Thanks for the petition.
