IT'S AN ENDANGERED SPECIES. HELLOOOOOO?!?!?!?! You can't kill a Tiger for being a Tiger. Can we please kill all the people that kill Lions and stuff instead please? Thanks.

Animals didn't give us permission to keep them in enclosure. Tiger just did what they do naturally. It's just another unfortunate incident. We can only pray for the family of zoo keeper. Thanks

I feel for the family who suffered this tragic loss. Let's not add another tragic loss to this - Oz is a born hunter and euthanizing him shouldn't even be an option.

It's a tiger. Tigers eat things.

It's not the Tigers fault. It is a wild animal put in an unnatural environment by humans. It's just doing what comes naturally. There are not enough tigers left in this world.

A tiger is a tiger and should not be put down for being its nature.

"The Mistake of Human Negligent"Always fulls back on Punishing the animal for what reason ''This is a animal born, with natural abilities to survive in the wild...''Zoo Keepers are trained for this profession,Awareness ,Competency should be a priority,,To Keep themselves ,The Community, Especially The Animals Safe from harm....Most condolences to her family..."But honestly"Oz should not be put to sleep because of our own human error's.......

This is a very saddening case..we put them behind bars to protect them, it does not stop them from being a tiger. Zookeepers will be warned time & time again on how this could happen at any given time. So, it kills a Zookeeper, & we give it the death penalty? For being a tiger? For showing who it really is? I think not.

Tiger's should live in the wild, not in a zoo

If zoos continue to keep large animals in unnatural spaces rather than their natural habitat, then events like this will happen. Large animals like this in a zoo bring dollars in at the gate, which is all the Council will be concerned about, rather than the wellbeing of their animals. Leave these beautiful animals where they should be - in the wild.

The poor creature is only doing what it is supposed to do in nature, it is not a household pet and should not be put down because of this unfortunate incident.

It is tragic that the keeper has lost her life. Very very sad. But the tiger is a predator and she may have been on his territory. The systems at hamilton zoo appear inadequate. There was a similar, but not fatal incident I believe, a couple of years ago.

Tigers are a wild animal ,and should be treated that why , they have been taken away from his natural envoirment and it is only common sense that they will be frustrated being locked up . He deserves to live

The tiger was only acting the way it's instinct told him to act. He's a wild animal after all.

The tiger is not to blame. Feel very sad for Samantha's family though.

It's a terrible tragedy for the keeper and her family. What an awful situation. However, it's not the tiger's fault. She did what she instinctively does. She's a wild animal, with wild, unpredictable tendencies.

Zoo has to improve security systems. Tragic that maybe poor systems at zoo cost a lovely keeper her life. I hope not the Tigers life.

Because I have had CONTACT with tigers, they are wonderful animals and OZ was only defending his territory. Often used to visit and stroke the two tigers in the Jahore Bahru zoo.
