#1352016-01-05 11:55The service from GEMS is unacceptable. I did a general calculation and we have an estimated 1.2 million gov employees and if each pays a minimum of R2000 including subsidized amount to GEMS they making around 4 billion a month on contributions. Yet the benefits are low and limited. They cover only generic medications in full as they are cheap and always there is levies to be paid to doctors, hospitals, pharmacies etc. We paying more and getting no value for money. Detailed research must be done to get gov employees a better medical scheme with affordable monthly contributions and excellent benefits all round from day to day cover to in hospital cover. Together I'm sure we all can make a difference that will benefit us all |
