Mary Gobey is an excellent Councillor and goes beyond that which is expected of her. I will not vote for any another DA Councillor.

I have never worked with such a dedicated and selfless person before. Mary goes above and beyond to ensure that her community is happy and that services and issues are resloved at the soonest.

I unfortunately dont live within Clr Goby's ward but I am well aware of the tremendous efforts she goes to. If Clr Goby is not reinstated I will vote for any party except the DA at local and national level and you may want to keep in mind that I have only voted DA so far.

Mary Goby is always willing to help and sort out problems like burst water pipes and keeps in touch via the community forums.

Mary Goby is not only my ward councillor but my mother as well. She's put so much dedication into helping her community and always goes beyond what is expected of her and has on more than 1 occasion put her community before her husband and kids to ensure that her community has the service that they deserve and have voted for. I will NOT VOTE for another DA councillor

In the last couple of years, I, and the Community has got to know Mary as passionate about her Ward and it's people. There is never an issue of "I can't help", instead, an answer that if she cannot sort it out, it WILL be escalated to the correct person or department that is responsible, and it happens! Why would you want to break up a winning partnership between your Party and it's Community? Doesn't make sense to me, and we will fight the decision that has been made without the consultation of her Community.

Whoever made the decision to remove Mary Goby from her Ward has clearly not asked her residents if they are satisfied with her performance, definitely not looking for DA votes at such a crucial time , and our problems are not important when it comes to electioneering . Finally we got a Councillor who actually worked exceptionally hard to resolve our problems and those left by the previous Councillor and shes axed , WHY ???
