Jan Roos and his team are the only Police officers in Brakpan that can be trusted. They've had success after success and work hard to keep us safe.Why break up a winning team ? Get corrupt cops out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not the trustworthy ones

Because as an ex member of saps I do not agree with Brig manyatella in his decision to disband the task team.. In my opinion its a witch hunt and a politically energized attempt to discredit warrant officer Roos and his team reasons supplied are pathetic at its very best.. Warrant officer Roos and he's team are all extremely good and efficient in performing their duty.. Manyatella should be removed from office

Why disband a highly effective and successful task team? Allow the task team to do what they were trained for. To serve and protect the community they were tasked to protect. So sad that the community were not involved in the first place. Could have saved the SAPS a lot of embarrassment and illgotten publicity.

I fail to understand why this unit which has been successful in curbing crime and which unit has received several accolades for its good work has been disbanded. It raises some concerns around the motive of such a decision which negatively affects the community. It is almost as if the SAPS does not want to house a successful crime fighting unit and the excuse that by disbanding this unit will serve the community better cannot be stomached.

I lived in Brakoan for 42 Years and still have friends and Family living there. Brakpan is still one of the BEST towns on the "East Rand"

I'm sick and tired of the bad guys getting all the breaks , especially from corrupt cops who would sell their soul for a few hundred rand. The task team did a great job and the SAPS should be thanking and rewarding them, not shut them down!

They are really a few of hardworking Saps members left that still see their work as a true calling and not just another job. Knowing them they deserve to do the great work they love. They have accomlished great success in our area and it would be a shame to loose them

Because it is the right thing to do there is no other way as to reinstate the task team because they are true police they do their job very well the Serv and protect public they take take their job seriously they deserve that post that they have filled .so give them back what they deserve dont break their ego
