I saw this accident in my way home. I just picked up my little one from day care. It seemed that high speed and loss of vehicle control could have been the cause. Reckless driving in the area of Mangaung is very common. We appeal for visibility of traffic authorities also to be increased on busy roads and speed cameras. We hardly see traffic officers especially during pick hours.

People drive under the influence of alcohol freely on the roads.

It appears that some people are using Albrecht Street for a racing course. It is so unsafe for the school learners to cross the road, as well as for persons who are attending church, or going to the shopping centre. It is extremely dangerous.

 I do not live in Albrecht street but take my kid to school and cross the road every morning. It is a nightmare and then people get impatient with each other.

I almost died last year with my kids driving to school on.Albrecht Street Dan Pienaar. A speeding truck hit us from behind. My car was beyond repairs and we are alive by the Grace of the Almighty God.

A reckless driver hit my son's car right at my gate, yes my children escaped without injuries but the car was written off. This driver has disappeared without paying my excess back. Apart from that, every morning is a nightmare when I drive into the main street to go to work.
