Bhagvad Gita teaches you how to get rid of these deomonic things of Lust and Greed. Whole world follows Gandhism , and Gandhiji used to get inspiration from Gita. Wester civilization ? you call it civilization ?........it is just out of your sence gratification. because you dont have control on your sences. Gita teaches you how to control your senses. Western people are making life comfortable materially only and same time distroying nature. Thats why so much clamities.
