How are people expected to put 2 weeks worth of general waste in a green bin its mad. Revert back to black bin its loads better.

it just passes more cost to residents the council save money yet it cost more time and money to the public to take excess rubbish to the council tip as is currently happening in mossley

the people who thought this up are out of touch with the average working person living in Tameside my brother lives in mossley and has had a nightmare with this bin swop system they have already imposed on him (as for keeping a recycle log they are treating us like children - we pay the council workers wages)

The bin swap saves nothing. People are doing the work instead of the council. Perhaps we should charge the council for the hour or so per week we spend sorting waste, then again for each trip to the tip. How long will their claimed saving last. Also what about the millions they recently spent on the tips. What was it, £21,000,000.
