Leeds needs a velodrome

because i think its a great idea we need this to happen forvour children

It's long over due. Leeds has nothing to compare with other major cities when it comes to ALL sports. My husband travels to York to use theirs...we are a bigger city...come on Leeds ...get your finger out!

My son (5) has already told me he will be an Olympic cycling champion of the future.....we need one!

After the enormous amount of funding given to the LEEDS/BRADFORD SUPER CYCLE WAY which is a huge white Elephant...A velodrome would be the perfect solution...so many could benefit and it would certainly put Leeds on the map....We have such local talent also it would attract visitors and competitors from far and wide...A very worthy prospect

The more facilities in Leeds the better for everyone and the city's economy benefits as well, I.e the Arena.

To make cycling more accessible as we need to get people involved in all sports. Driving to Manchester adds to the time and cost and makes it a less do-able pass time.

Because Leeds desperately needs a velodrome to complement the cycling successes of the Tour de France and the Tour de Yorkshire. Yorkshire young people deserve a facility to that of other major cities so they can cycle in safety and train to emulate the Olympic champions we have all enjoyed watching on TV..Legacy!!!

It will give children an adults alike a chance to gain new skills from this sport. Leeds is a great city and a velodrome would be another important opportunity to provide people to practice this sport and benefit in many other ways.

Leeds needs a top class cycling venue

Leeds is pushing national and Inter-national cycle competitions in and around Leeds , so the city needs the facilities to encourage local people to become champions of the future
