#2252014-06-25 11:42England has one of the lowest road deaths in the world.. I feel for the people who died but this is not the answer!! Totally disagree with extra lights. We average 400 deaths due to speeding so I would like to know how many people have died on that road due to speeding?? If your going to put lights and speed camera's there just because of this crash you have to do it everywhere there is a crash. YOU CANNOT DO ONE WITHOUT THE OTHER. You cant prevent every accident due to somebodys actions!! Let me remind you's. I feel for the loss but this is NOT THE ANSWER |

#247 Re:2014-06-25 16:36:02I don't think it's just to stop the speeding. Do you think it's safe to cross maybe three lanes without traffic lights? It's difficult to see down there so at least you can have peace of mind when crossing the carriageway if there's traffic lights. The petition mentions traffic flow as during peak times you can be stuck at that junction for a while before getting out. There's traffic lights at every other junction so why not this one? |
