Get David Richards the sentence he deserves

David Richard is a male pastor who was accused and convicted of touching his adoptive daughter without consent. The incident was shocking and disturbing, and the fact that Richard, being a religious leader and a self-proclaimed "man of god," was supposed to be someone his child could trust and look up to, makes it all the more egregious.

We, the organizers of this petition, strongly believe that including religion in justice is wrong. Justice should be blind to any individual's religious or family background. It should be based on the severity of the crime and the impact it has had on the victim. The sentence imposed on Richard should have been much harsher, and it sends a dangerous message that religious leaders can get away with abusing children and not facing the full consequences of their actions.

Furthermore, it is unacceptable for Richard to use his position as a man of god as an excuse for his criminal behavior. This type of behavior gives religion a bad name and undermines the trust that people have in religious leaders.
