Keep Small Town Living Small

The owner/developer of failed high density residential venture "The Promenade" in Downtown Middletown is proposing a 119 townhome community on just over 10 acres of land. Nestled amongst the already traffic congested Rt. 299, the library currently under construction, the presently expanding Silver Lake Elementary School and the YMCA grounds slated for further expansion in the future, this area will have a massive impact on traffic and the charm of our historic downtown area. We do not need additional houses to stress services and amenities in the area, we need infrastructure and amenities to support our town as is and the residents who already call it home. We are asking for all those who oppose this development to sign this petition and help make our voices heard in our local government.
