One way street by FUMC

As a mother of two small children, it is my duty to keep them healthy and safe. I keep them healthy by providing a roof over their head, food to help them grow, and have them in daycare to help provide them with a bright future. How can I keep them safe? I keep them safe in all ways possible, but if when I pick them up from their day care I'm scared one of my children or one of their friends will get hit by a car speeding past the day care with cars parked in both directions on both sides of East Spring Street. This has been an emenent danger for sometime. One way we can change this and put a peace in all of the parents heart and mind is to make East Spring Street a one-way with speed reductions during high volume drop-off and pick-up times. I would like as many signatures from our city residents as well as parents from FUMC to help make this change possible. Our children are our future and it is OUR responsibility to keep them safe from danger and this should not be a question of "should we or should we not?" but a question of why is it not in place already?
