“We have a clear blue sea, our little island; we have fish, fresh water flowing down the Velebit karrens into the sea. We have the most amazing sunsets behind the magic Prvić Island and sunrises over silver frosts of the Velebit giants. This paradise cannot hold the waste that sows our worst fears in everyday life.“ The citizens’ initiative “Sveti Juraj without the Dumpyard“ shall petition for prompt termination of any further waste dumping at the “Sveti Juraj” landfill.
