PROTECT ALEXANDRIA JOB CENTRE
We the undersigned believe that there is a local need that justifies the retention of Alexandria Job Centre Plus. We reject the notion that the proposed closure is anything other than a cost cutting exercise and we disagree with the DWP assertion that this service is not required.
This job centre services communities at the wrong end of the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation and will only make it more difficult for people to find work and access the Social Security services they require to feed themselves and their families.
We urge the DWP to rethink their decision.
