Requesting European Justice

We, citizens of the Republic of Moldova, hereby support civil initiative of “Moldova's Youth” and express our concern and indignation with the political forces of The Republic of Moldova, unwilling to serve the interests of the electorate in the course of two month after the Moldovan Parliamentary Election results were announced.

Currently, we are witnessing a very vicious fight for the spheres of influence and law enforcement institutions, both of which are necessary instruments allowing continuation of fraudulent operations and money laundering.

Much to our regret, Moldovan politicians plan to meet their personal interests to the prejudice and at the expense of the citizens and national interests of the Republic of Moldova.

Taking into consideration above stated facts and acting within the framework of

  • art.2 paragraph (1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, stipulating that the national sovereignty belongs to the people of the Republic of Moldova, who can exercise it directly or through their representatives, but within the framework of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova
  • art.5 paragraph (1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, stipulating that democracy in the Republic of Moldova is exercised through political pluralism, that is incompatible with dictatorship and totalitarianism
  • art.39 paragraph (1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, stipulating that the citizens of the Republic of Moldova are entitled to participate in management of public affairs directly or through their representatives, but within the framework of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova
  • art.52 paragraph (1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, guaranteeing the right to petition
  • and within the framework of the Petition Law, we hereby address the Parliamentary Parties and elected members of the Parliament with the following demands, vital in order to preserve legitimate integrity of the Republic of Moldova within the common European area:

    2. To liberate justice and law enforcement institution
    3. To appoint in the position of the General Prosecutor and President of the Supreme Court of Justice an independent person , who: a)is not a citizen of the Republic of Moldova, b) is not involved in business or political scene of the Republic of Moldova.
    4. To conduct transparent investigations of state property privatizations in the period from 2001 to 2015, state and private property valuation procedures applied during the course of the said period.
    5. To pass the Law of Lustration.

Pursuant to the Petition Law #190 dd.19.07.1994 and within the terms stipulated by the said Law, we demand to be informed about the process of the present Petition rectification as well as about appropriate measures taken.
