SAVE THE POOL! - Aspley Halls of Residance, Huddersfield

Aspley Halls wants to remove the swimming pool that they currently have and redesign the area into a study and socialising area, along with this they want to redesign the current gym as well. This means the pool that was initially advertised by Aspley Halls won't be available to residents and the gym facilities will be disrupted or closed. I know many students feel that these new facilities are not needed because of the halls being so close to the university. Having a pool would be so much more beneficial. Additionally, this area will be a building site meaning there'll be construction noise and a lot of dirt about.


Many people are annoyed that we were sold on Aslpey Halls solely for the pool and that the representatives have only decided to tell us now after most of us have already paid our deposits. If you feel as cheated as me, please sign this petition and maybe we can change their minds!
