This place was my favourite place growing up, I felt like a storybook character or an adventurer walking over log stumps, carrying a stick to fight snakes, playing on a mini digger, swinging on rope swings. I just turned 18 this year, and this other kids deserve (maybe some even need with ipad kids) to have this place to make memories in too.

Bollywood Farms holds many memories for our family! I visited with my son on his class learning journey, and have been a couple times with the family to eat at the restaurant. Love the nasi lemak. Please extend their lease!! We need such spaces to remain in Singapore

I am signing because I believe in the importance of saving organic spaces like Bollywood Farms to teach future generations about nature. This space is for us to reconnect with the human part of living, to be connected with nature that has so lavishly provided us with what we need. The heart of Singapore is its people, and without this space I think we're on our way to losing our humanity, when one day we live taking for granted what we have and forgetting our roots of where things come from.

Growing up in an urban nation like Singapore, memories of kampong I had were those from Malaysia. However, with for my children who are now 19 and 18 years old, Bollywood had introduce to them a "farm-plantation" experience when they were in pre-school and lower primary. Thanks to those experiences, till today, my children still enjoy those fond memories. Keeping Bollywood is like keeping a part of Singapore heritage. Many may not have opportunities to travel to even nearby Malaysia for those experience. Keeping Bollywood ensures a part of once Singapore's heritage will continued to be passed down and experienced. It helps in balancing urbanization and our "past roots". Most importantly, it help families create unforgettable intangible of heirloom memories that lasts forever.

I'm signing this because Bollywood Farms has been an amazing plot where children are able to properly learn and explore nature. The facilitators are so well-knowledged and passionate about their jobs. Losing this plot is taking away such a vital education source not just for the kids but our society.

Let's not be an amnesiac nation of uprooted people.
Bollywood Farms is not just any "countryside", this is a part of Singapore's natural heritage and a living story worth passing on for many more future generations to co-create.

Chia Chia Tan (Singapore, 2026-04-15)

I’ve been bringing my children here since they were very young. These days, many seek such countryside experiences overseas but it would be a real shame if we didn’t cherish and preserve what we still have here in Singapore. May we hold onto these spaces, and leave them for the generations coming after us.

Joanna W (Singapore, 2026-04-15)

#655

we are not going to reach food security 30 by 30 with hydroponics farms or vertical farms that will just develop their technology with government grants and then sell that technology away to other countries. we need to keep soil farms that have spent decades building up that top soil.

Si Min Ho (Singapore, 2026-04-16)

#658

The loss of Bollywood farm will cause disamenity to Singaporeans who want to educate their children about how food is grown. It will also result in a loss of agricultural skill and knowledge that is important for Singapore's future food security.

I’m signing because I’ve been to Bollywood Farms with my family (including young children) and it was a precious, important, and singular experience for my young toddler, who will undoubtedly grow up in the concrete jungle that is Singapore. If BF ceases to be, there will not be another place easily accessible within Singapore that the next generation will be able to experience.

Ian Wilson (Singapore, 2026-04-18)

I believe in the mission of the farm and its owner. My pre-schooler had a class excursion to the farm and it was a very differentiated and unique experience for him. I have also been there years ago and it is something different. If we do not require the farm land for any pressing matters, please consider the extension grant for society benefit.

Jason Ng (Singapore, 2026-04-18)

Please let Bollywood Farms stay at its current premises! This place is an excellent education place for my children, and it is where i buy fresh vegetables!

Evangeline Chueng (Singapore, 2026-04-18)

What a special place Bollywood Veggies is, allowing us Singaporeans to connect with our natural world in an increasingly urbanised cityscape. It’ll be a great loss, particularly for our younger generations, if we don’t save one of the last few reminders of our kampong past. I urge the government to reconsider extending the lease especially when the owners are willing to continue to put the effort into running the place.

Sivani Sathivel (Singapore, 2026-04-18)

#760

I am signing because every country needs a countryside and Bollywood Farms has a uniquely Singaporean track record of greening Singapore, Singaporeans and the greater good.

Glenn Ong (Singapore, 2026-04-18)

#766

Bollywood Farm is well run and known as one of the few experiential farms left in Singapore after GUI had to relocate. I'm appalled and disappointed that the government does not take into the tangible and intangible contributions that such businesses make to Singapore esp the young. We dont need more urban farms now. We need to cultivate the farmers through places like Bollywood Veggies to grow the appreciation and interest in food.

Li Sar Soh (Singapore, 2026-04-18)

#770

I do like Bollywood farms and feel that it has more character and purpose than some high tech farm.

Sarah Wong (Singapore, 2026-04-18)

#779

This has been a place I could bring my little ones to learn about farming and appreciating the food that nature gives us. I do not know another place in sg with such intentional vegetation and a restaurant that provides delicious local food and provides great atmosphere just next to it, and also has a wide expanse of greenery with no building in sight. It's really a gem of a place.

“Good farmers, who take seriously their duties as stewards of Creation and of their land's inheritors, contribute to the welfare of society in more ways than society usually acknowledges, or even knows. These farmers produce valuable goods, of course; but they also conserve soil, they conserve water, they conserve wildlife, they conserve open space, they conserve scenery.” - Wendell Berry, Bringing it to the Table: On Farming and Food

Jerrie Liao (Singapore, 2026-04-19)

One of Singapore's most beautiful corners... not over-curated, not concrete just nature and love.

Charlotte Bromley (Singapore, 2026-04-19)

#783

One of the last few truly green and free farms left in singapore. At this rate of killing them, we have nothing much left other than manicured landscape along roadside and a few pathetic parks

Ricky Lim (Singapore, 2026-04-19)

I like my family and kids to have a reliable authentic location to experience outdoor farming and learn about how day-to-day food is grown and harvested. It contributes to awareness of toil for food and mindful experience during mealtimes.

Bollywood Farms is a part of Singapore’s identity. Many people have made memories here with their families and friends. It transcends beyond a multi-generational culture for Singaporeans. We also need to preserve a local farming ecosystem in a world with a climate crisis.

Dara Toh (Singapore, 2026-04-19)

#793

Starting a farm is not something one can do at a clap of hand. It takes years and years of efforts. If focus is just on the technology side of things, our future generations will never have the hands on experience and appreciate nature.

Agnes Chong (Singapore, 2026-04-19)

#794

I've been to Bollywoods Farm and I love the foods, plantations, and natural environment over there 💚 hoping that this beautiful and serene place will continue to stay in the land of singapore!

I’m signing this petition because I believe Singapore should remain a diverse place — not just in people, but in spaces too.

In a city that already feels like a concrete jungle, places like Bollywood Farms matter. They give our children a chance to experience nature, to slow down, to learn where food comes from, and to just be kids outdoors.

Not everything meaningful needs to be replaced with something new. Some spaces are worth protecting.
