We want this concept to be preserved. We have been going there since our kids were very young. It's an educational visit for us and we get country side feel. Hope it's preserved

The Planners

They plan. They build. All spaces are gridded,
filled with permutations of possibilities.
The buildings are in alignment with the roads
which meet at desired points
linked by bridges all hang
in the grace of mathematics.
They build and will not stop.
Even the sea draws back
and the skies surrender.

They erase the flaws,
the blemishes of the past, knock off
useless blocks with dental dexterity.
All gaps are plugged
with gleaming gold.
The country wears perfect rows
of shining teeth.
Anaesthesia, amnesia, hypnosis.
They have the means.
They have it all so it will not hurt,
so history is new again.
The piling will not stop.
The drilling goes right through
the fossils of last century.

But my heart would not bleed
poetry. Not a single drop
to stain the blueprint
of our past’s tomorrow.

There's nothing quite like Bollywood Farms anywhere in Singapore.

Charlotte Yong (Singapore, 2026-04-08)

Singapore needs to protect and keep the very things that make it special and unique instead of monotonous. Every country needs a countryside, and bolywood farms is such a wonderful place. Theres so much love and personality in it. And Singapore should have farms and locally produced produce and greens (actual farms not just urban vertical ones).

Ishaan Deb (Singapore, 2026-04-09)

Singapore prides itself on being the garden city, but in recent years, has cut down more and more forests and green spaces, replacing it with artificial, shallow imitations of what it truly means to coexist with nature. Bollywood Farms is a space where humans and nature truly coexist, and build upin each other. to take this space away and replace it with concrete– using up more sand that the world is starting to run out of, with the geopolitical backdrop of Trump and the US removing protections for the environment, is an active step in taking my life and my future away. I do not want to start a family in that world. Save Bollywood Farms.

This is an amazing place for all generations to stroll and learn about nature and sustainable agriculture. Please do not destroy one of the last farms in Singapore

Delphine Sivarajan (Singapore, 2026-04-10)

I am signing this because there's way too much development in Singapore. We destroy forests to build BTOs and Condos and then try to replicate nature by planting trees and shrubs that are sometimes not even native to Singapore, just to give the illusion that Singapore is a garden city - so green, fancy and manicured.

Our country sides are the last fortress of true green spaces that we have and they should be preserved not just because of sentiments but those are our heritage spaces; a reflection of what Singapore used to be before rampant construction and concrete jungles.

Don't just preserve heritage buildings, preserve our green spaces and forests too because they are just as important in our shared history, heritage and narrative.

Singapore needs to keep such unique affordable excursion farms around for psychological wellness and community bonding. Not everyone can afford to go overseas for nature trips.

Lawrence Goh (Singapore, 2026-04-10)

The intangible benefits of protecting this land is more critical than any economic metric. We need space to breathe and BE. This is critical to the sanity of people living in this concrete jungle.

Claudia P (Singapore, 2026-04-10)

singapore has lost too many green spaces. and idw another garden by nparks where nature is not the central focus. i want a nature park where people really care about the land and want to protect, preserve and conserve it, a place where conservation comes first

Bollywood veggies was a part of my childhood more than a decade ago, and i recall having fond memories of the farm with my friends - some of which i’m still in touch with today! Singapore needs to protect our remaining green and natural spaces, and our children need to have these options to grow with nature, to experience the peace and joy that it brings in a world with changing climate and destruction. I hope bollywood veggies remain, and we bring this to our future and current generations!

Charm Lee (Singapore, 2026-04-10)

Bollywood veggies is a gem. My family loves bringing visitors to Singapore there for a meal. It is such an educational haven for our small children. There is no other space like it in Singapore and we want to preserve it as long as possible

I love this place so so much. It is also my family's (including my 5 year old son and 3 year old daughter) favourite place in Singapore. It is so original, so special, so rare and so important for us who barely have any countryside access. The food is incredible - delicious, nutritious and well priced. Local flora are grown with utmost care and pride. It is our happy place and we would be heartbroken to see it go. Please let us and our children continue to have this small piece of joy - it is irreplaceable - certainly not by the man made, manicured shrubs that pass as greenery these days.

Isabelle Yeo (Singapore, 2026-04-10)

Bollywood Farms has been a core memory for me! The farms are the last real piece of nature and life here in our urban concrete jungle, and BF has played a critical role in educating our kids and visitors alike the intangible value of the great outdoors.

Candice Lim (Singapore, 2026-04-10)

Bollywood Farm and the work being done there is wonderful and important. Land allocation has to go beyond yield and productivity.

We need natural, uncurated green spaces for our children. How can they learn to understand the environment, when we are removing these accessible spaces? Bollywood Farms is an important space in Singapore. There is absolutely nothing that compares to it.

We came to Bollywood Farms for the nasi lemak but left feeling like we went back in time. When life was simpler because people were satisfied of living where they’re at, our attention not divided into hundreds of different distractions thinking it will give us true happiness and peace. We were more connected to our environment. We knew where our food came from and the hands that prepared them. Bollywood Farms is more than just locally grown food fighting for a sliver of land. It’s a reminder that some things are better left as is because it’s a symbol of our humanity.

Patricia DS (Singapore, 2026-04-11)

I am signing because Bollywood forms part of my childhood, and their concept of farm-to-table is exceptional compared to the rest. Not everything has to go, and in fact, some traditional methods prove to be lower cost and competitive as well.

Windsor Lim (Singapore, 2026-04-11)

One of my best teaching memories was seeing 15 1st Grade students knee deep in water planting rice at the farm. They absolutely loved it. So many are city kids don’t know what their fruits and vegetables growing look like. It is such an important place to preserve.

We’ve been to Bollywood numerous times with our kids - it’s a wonderful space to teach them about local plants, farming and cooking. It would be a tragic loss to the community
