Subaru Starlink

The Subaru Starlink system that comes in the new 2015-2016 Subaru models is inadequate and does not function as advertised. The lag with the touch-screen and steering wheel controls, the bluetooth connectivity, and voice recognition is absolutely horrible. This is a problem that ALL of the Starlink systems are experiencing. Most of us have resorted to either upgrading the head unit ourselves, which can cost $500 or more,  or just not using the starlink system all together. Not being able to use the Starlink system poses not just an inconvenience, but a safety threat. The main reason for Starlink is so that drivers do not have to look down at their phones for things such as making/receiving calls and playing music. With the Starlink system being as unaffective as it is, it is preventing drivers from being as safe as possible while on the roads. Subaru has to come up with a solution to this problem!!!

For those who say this is pointless...it could be. But at least we are trying to do something about it. If you are satisfied with the HU then don't sign it. But personally, I don't believe we should have to settle and pay for something that we can't use the way we are supposed to be able to.
