Supporting children

Hi this petition is in regards to Harper Green High school in  Farnworth were they have currently brought in a new rule where if a child is late into school then they arnt allowed access to a hot meal and have to have a cold meal as a mother myself this brings great concern for me as every child is entitled to a hot meal it is not a treat it is a right and taking this away from a child can have a serious affects on a child's emotional well-being and mental health some children rely on that meal for all sorts of reasons and it is a true fact that that will be the only meal some children get and as people would agree this is a form of neglecting a child's needs especially with the weather getting colder i attended a meeting today (18/09/2024) at Harper Green About this and was told it's staying in place as it was approved by the governors so I have told them I would like to go to the next step of my complaint and I will continue with this until this rule is taken away I would appreciate it if you could share this far and wide so that I can show this at my next meeting to show them that I'm not the only parent that thinks this needs to be removed thankyou for taking your time to read this
