There are enough houses already and we need to save what countryside we have left, it's a disgrace

Ben Haines (Leicester , 2020-05-15)

#7

I'm signing because NWLDC shouldnt go back in their word regarding further development on Greenhill Rd

Michele Walker (Coalville, 2020-05-15)

#9

It’s important to me I value the green spaces and the natural environment is quintessential in keeping the equilibrium .
Too many houses built as it is.
Preserve the green belt.

Andrea Croft (Leicester , 2020-05-16)

#10

I am a local residents.

Michael Wyatt (Coalville , 2020-05-18)

#11

The foxes, muntjacs, and other wildlife around the Coalville area, particularly on the Bardon Hill, and surrounding countryside, have been squeezed enough. Let's preserve what we/they have.

Les Kendrick (Coalville, 2020-05-26)

#12

We need to protect what green spaces are left and development here will without doubt involve loss of ancient oaks and other trees.

John Smith (Coalville, 2020-05-26)

#14

For all the dust and noise over the years it's now payback time for constantly washing our cars and windows

Tracie Rayne (Leicester , 2020-05-26)

#15

They owe use

Paul Rayne (Leicestershire , 2020-05-26)

#16

I am signing as I wish to protect the green land which I love so much near where I live which is Drome close, near Dunbar and it would a crying shame to destroy such beautiful habitat.

Dawn Chancellor Bolton (coalville, 2020-05-26)

#21

I am a resident of Coalville living with the consequences of over development.

Lynn Peck (Coalville, 2020-05-29)

#23

We have enough houses in greenhill , those fields take a lot of water if more houses were built where would it go . We’ve been flooded before we don’t want to get flooded again.

Michael Hawkins (Coalville leicestershire, 2020-06-02)

#31

We need to keep out greenery too many houses now!! Please leave our countryside alone !! More pollution !!

Paris Smallwood (Leicestershire , 2020-06-10)

#33

save the countryside

ronald curtis (ashby de la zouch, 2020-06-10)

#35

The area needs to be saved for the wildlife.

Fiona Proudlove (Coalville, 2020-06-12)

#39

This is a precious part of countryside and is better served as a community resource

John Knight (coalville, 2020-06-14)

#40

Development on this land would destroy vital natural habitats, would disturb the peace of a quiet corner of Leicestershire, would destroy house prices locally to the detriment of locals, would cause harm to those living with COPD in the area, would add noise pollution, would add extra traffic, would remove natural drainage, would add pressure to an already overwhelmed heath and education system, would further erode the dwindling habitat of our deer, would absolutely destroy people's enjoyment of the area and would cause significant upset and distress to the local population, myself included.

Ben Bell (Coalville, 2020-06-14)

#44

Please no more houses eating up the green space. We need to protect and celebrate our beautiful green spaces. National Forest getting harder to see

Karan Sheffield (Coalville , 2020-06-14)

#48

Markfield doesn't have the amenities to accommodate this. And already becoming over crowded with new builds

Danielle Courtney (Leicester, Markfield , 2020-06-14)

#49

There isn't going to be any green land left, there's new unaffordable housing being built everywhere! Don't let money talk and think about the health and wellbeing of the people of coalville

Joanne Gwillim (Coalville , 2020-06-14)

#51

We need to preserve our green space,we have enough building going on in the area we don't need anymore

Molly Storer (Coalville , 2020-06-14)

#52

I'm signing to protect a really important area. It is an area used extensively by the local community - dog-walkers, cyclists and walkers. It is important for people's mental health and physical health. The number of trees that would be cut down (even 'protected' ones) is unthinkable. When you take into account the amount of traffic that will increase with more houses - we need green fields and trees to counteract Coalville's carbon footprint. We have lost too much of our greenbelt already.

Catherine Bell (Coalville, 2020-06-14)

#54

I believe in the preservation of the country side and have a desire to prevent the over loading of local roads and local services

Paul Williams (COALVILLE, 2020-06-14)

#56

I am not in favour of the land behind Dauphine Close being used for the building of houses.
Liz Robson

Elizabeth Robson (Coalville, 2020-06-14)

#59

This is land close to where I live, I don't have a dog but I walk these fields every week. This is beautiful land.

Joanne Burns (Coalville Leicestershire, 2020-06-14)

#65

We still need nature!!!

Carrianne Cuppelditch (Leicestershire, 2020-06-15)

#66

I'm signing because enough green space has been taken up with new builds in this location, we need to keep our countryside not intermingle every estate, village, town and country.

Ananda Barnett (Coalville , 2020-06-15)

#78

There is absolutely no need for further destruction of open countryside, which supports wildlife and is a natural sink for CO2. By all means allow development of brownfield sites, but no further development of greenfield sites should be permitted until all alternatives have been used up.

Malcolm Allsop (Coalville, 2020-06-15)

#81

The green spaces in the Greenhill Road area have already been substantially swallowed up by the Avant housing development and any further building will be severely detrimental to the area.

Sheridan Roberts (Coalville, 2020-06-16)

#82

There is enough development in the area as it is. We don't want to lose any more green space to housing plus potentially having to provide additional facilities such as schools, shops doctors surgeries, etc. to cover the extra housing.

Gilda Roberts (Coalville, 2020-06-16)

#84

I live in Dauphine Close and use this area daily plus I feel there are already enough houses being built either side of Greenhill Road so no need to take more greenbelt land. Already the schools, GP surgeries and local roads cannot cope

Debbie SHALES (Coalville, 2020-06-17)

#87

This is unbelievable. Should never go ahead. Disgusting

stephen smith (leics, 2020-06-18)

#89

The infrastructure cannot take any more houses or population and the countryside should be preserved

Nigel Mutimer (Leicestershire, England, 2020-06-24)

#90

I'm signing because our green spaces are important not only to the environment but to our health and well being. Brown spaces and un used buildings that could be reimagined into housing and would be a better use of space and would allow children to grow up knowing what nature looks like! I'm a realist and know that it doesn't matter what I write here because selling that land is paying for the new leisure centre and you are going to do what you want anyway!

Sue Edwards (Coalville , 2020-07-17)

#91

I'm signing because I am a biologist/ecologist who believes no more green sites should be destroyed whilst brown sites are available and all green sites must be surveyed for use of public for exercise and mental well-being as well as assessing their ecological value within the local ecosystems.

Claire Barnes (Coalville, Leicestershire, 2020-07-17)

#93

I’m signing here because our green spaces are important for our mental and physical health.

Penny Marsden (Coalville , 2020-08-01)

#94

If you whant to build some were do it in your own back yard

John Watret (Coalville, 2020-08-11)

#97

I'm signing to keep some green belt plus it is to close to the quarry

John Potter (COALVILLE, 2020-08-17)

#102

Our countryside is precious, they need to stop building stuff and destroying our wildlife natural habitat! We don't need any more houses in coalville, enough is enough!!

Michelle Bramley (Leicester , 2020-08-18)

#107

Enjoy having green open space nearby that's why we chose to live here 40 plus years ago no further housing developments are needed in this area. already used up enough of the green space for building this end of coalville.

Anne Dunmore (coalville, 2020-08-18)

#109

because to much of our countryside is dissappearing. There cannot be a need for so much housing in the area with no extra infrastructure .

Tracy Shilliam (Coalville, 2020-08-18)

#114

We need to keep our green areas!! Develop shopping areas and entertainment such as cinema/bowling so the area has more to offer for those already living here.

Maxine Wight (Leicester , 2020-08-18)

#115

We have moren fulfilled our quota for new housing in this area. We are losing far to.much countryside to.developer this area.

Michael Taylor (Coalville, 2020-08-18)

#117

Enough is enough. The area cannot cope with any more.

Andy Winter (Leicester, 2020-08-18)

#118

Enough is enough our villages will no longer exist soon

Gail Hovell (Coalville,leicester, 2020-08-18)

#122

This is open countryside on the edge of the Charnwood Forest and should be preserved as a green space. Local infrastructure will find it difficult to cope with extra houses.

Howard Pymm (Coalville, 2020-08-18)

#125

The view around there is stunning. The wild life and environment cant cope with any more building. I moved to this area because of the open spaces and forestry not because it was packed with people, cars, pollution and nowhere for the animals to live that were here BEFORE us! Humans are a stupid species. And this type of despicable behaviour is a prime example of it!

Liz Squires (Coalville, 2020-08-18)

#126

There are too many unaffordable houses being built, putting additional strain on existing infrastructure - schools, doctors surgeries, council - the almighty £ is king, but residents need access to green spaces, not only for their physical wellbeing, but that of their mental health.

Sarah Owen-Smith Dodds (Coalville , 2020-08-18)

#127

that space needs to be left alone. We do NOT NEED anymore houses around that area... its getting saturated and we won't have any green spaces left. Find somewhere else to build houses!

Gina King (Leicestershire, 2020-08-18)

#128

We are losing to much green space as it is. We need open ground and trees to cut back on flooding but the more you build the worst it going to make it. We haven’t got the infrastructure for more homes!!

Kim Leake (Coalville, 2020-08-18)

#129

because we are losing our beautiful green space and lovely mature wonderful trees plus wild live.thankyou.

linda chambers (Coalville, 2020-08-18)

#130

Our green space shouldn’t be given over to housing! How can we be called Charnwood Forest if there’s no Forest!

Marie Wright (Leicester , 2020-08-18)

#132

Too many houses being built in the area getting very congested and not correct amount of infrastructure and amenities to go with the amount of houses!!!

Jenny Sainsbury (Leicester, 2020-08-18)

#134

We need to stop destroying the countryside of this area.

Steven Middleton (Coalville, 2020-08-18)

#136

The last beautiful piece of Coalville has been bought by yet another ruthless developer. 2 developments went ahead on surrounding areas having been previously turned down several times by NWLDC planning. They were sneaked through on appeal and it seems this developer has the same idea. To destroy natural habitat for many wild animals in what should be a conservation area, in order to make profit.

Rachel Hare (Coalville, 2020-08-18)

#137

We located here because of the open countryside surrounding our property. This is gradually being eroded by greedy developers building on what should be a conservation area and driving wildlife from their homes. We don't have the amenities or infrastructure to support yet more ugly new builds.

Nick Hare (Coalville, 2020-08-18)

#138

No more houses in this area, PLEASE!

Lyn Curtis (Coalville, Leicestershire, 2020-08-18)

#140

Our beautiful forest and wildlife are rapidly disappearing, to help insure human survival we have to work together to save our planet.

Annah Jetha (London, 2020-08-18)

#141

This is on my door step and a thing of pure beauty, we don't need to destroy more green land for bricks!!!

Graham Howe (Leicester, 2020-08-18)

#142

Because I'm totally against the decimation of our beautiful countryside. Our countryside needs more protection.

Susan Conti (Coalville, 2020-08-18)

#145

While I am all for progress, the current council has systematically neglected the infrastructure of this town. There are not enough school places (Primary and secondary), medical centres, police, shopping facilities (both grocery or clothing). For a town that has been and continues to be neglected, building yet more homes seems an ignorant and short sighted venture.

Wendy Harris (Coalville , 2020-08-18)

#148

I live here, fed up of continual development. No increase in facilities either.

Martin Downes (COALVILLE, 2020-08-18)

#149

The infrastructure can't cope with more houses without road Improvements, and more schools being built . Traffic is a nightmare as it is !

Sally Brotherhood (Coalville, Leicestershire , 2020-08-18)

#150

We want the countryside to stay with all the wildlife, and lovely walks.

Gina Bartlett-Upton (Leicestershire , 2020-08-18)

#151

Far too many housing developments going on but no improvement to the town.

David Cooke (coalville, 2020-08-18)

#154

We are losing our Countryside

Gaynor watts (Derby, 2020-08-18)

#155

Our green spaces need protection

Sharon Prior (Coalville , 2020-08-18)

#156

I live on Dunbar and this should not be happening. Old quarry site for one who in their right mind would live there plus its quiet and lovely here and we paid for that. You are all over money dont care about us or the children its all money. Go somewhere else

Hannah windley (Leicestershire , 2020-08-18)

#159

There are brown sites that need developing before we have to destroy our country side.

Tony Medlycott (Coalville, 2020-08-18)

#160

Too many houses, too many people and too much traffic 😡

Paul upton (leicester, 2020-08-18)

#163

I’m signing this as we have so many new houses being built in Coalville and surrounding areas ... you are taking all our greenery away !! Wilde life live in those fields... please stop ! Not only that but what about the schools in the area how will they cope ? Please don’t allow more of our beautiful greenery to be taken .. we do not need more houses in Coalville..

Julie Miles (Coalville , 2020-08-19)

#165

I am signing because our green spaces should be protected and there is already far too many new houses being build around Coalville Hugglescote area for the local roads to cope with

Karl Heath (Long Eaton , 2020-08-19)

#170

i live in Coalville and love the country side around us but there less and less placese to walk with out having to drive there . Most of the walk ways in coalville have been built on .

Karen taylor (coalville, 2020-08-19)

#172

Too much Greenland has already been taken away from this area. We don't need any more new housing in Coalville. Were supposed to be in the heart of the national forest. There won't be any forest left they way this government are carrying on!

Andrew Perrin (Coalville, 2020-08-19)

#173

We need to leave the countryside alone, animals are being added to the endangered list because our greed is destroying their habitat. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We don't own this planet we are only tenants, and bad ones at that!

Lorraine Stoneman (Coalville, 2020-08-19)

#174

I am sick of loosing our beautiful countryside and seeing housing or developments using this space and enough is enough

Faye Player (Coalville, 2020-08-19)

#175

i walk mt dog here everyday. please protect our countryside.

paige hitchcock (leicester, 2020-08-19)

#176

im signing because i walk my dog here everyday.

joanne beedham (leicester, 2020-08-19)

#178

I'm signing because we don't need to keep building houses on our countryside and i walk my dog here everyday.

debbie hitchcock (leicester, 2020-08-19)

#179

I'm signing as any developer now seems to be given carte blanche to stack their houses, provide minimalistic plots, little provision for cars and overflow parking andNO improvements to the infrastructure around the developments. That aside, when they do build, they constantly dig up new tarmac on paths, roads and driveways as their work is never ending!
If the pandemic has taught us one thing - even in lockdown or isolation, green space must be available to exercise ourselves and our pets away from residential areas, pathways and roads.

Simon Willars (Coalville, 2020-08-19)

#181

im signing because i walk my dog/eun/ride my bike here.

jack hitchcock (leicester, 2020-08-19)

#182

This tiny little island that we live on cannot take anymore housing at the expense of the countryside. Why can't derelict sites within towns and citys be used.

Wendy Beaken (Nanpantan, 2020-08-19)

#183

Don't want to see the only green space we have in Greenhill taken over by more house building.

Caroll Fox (Coalville, 2020-08-19)

#184

There is way too much development in and around the area. There is no additional infrastructure being included and coalville has a number of brownfield sites that should be used for housing BEFORE any green land is built on.

Ben Taylor (Coalville , 2020-08-19)

#186

The area is being saturated with new developments to the detriment of wildlife and local spaces for people to walk and be with nature. The fields in question could be used by children to play in safety and for adults to recreate. Each new development adds pressure to existing services: schools, surgeries etc., and adds traffic to existing heavily loaded roads.

Ted Bottle (Coalville, 2020-08-19)

#187

This is an area of awesome open space, walks and nature. We have lost a lot of this due to the quarry expansion so it is vital that more houses are not built on this land - we need the trees to suck up the pollution from the quarry and to stop flooding - please do not allow more building - our area has suffered enough

Jeanette Feliciant (Leicester , 2020-08-19)

#190

I'm signing because I have a degree in psychology and health psychology. I know the scientific evidence that green spaces, especially natural green spaces like the land off Waterworks Road, are essential for positive mental health and wellbeing. Green spaces are so important for children's development into healthy adults. The council cannot justify taking away any more green spaces from Coalville residents.

Jade Earnshaw (Coalville , 2020-08-19)

#191

Traffic is already too much going through Coalville, and we should be trying to preserve our countryside

Melissa Bartle (Coalville , 2020-08-19)

#193

because this is a important piece of green open space

Gary Terzza (Coalville, 2020-08-19)

#194

I dont think they should be building houses on green spaces in coalville.

Chloe Terzza (Coalville, 2020-08-19)

#198

the planets fukin dying

nemo verum (coalville, 2020-08-20)

#200

The countryside surrounding Coalville is beautiful and well used by the community. It is one of the few things our town has going for it and should be enhanced, encouraged and enjoyed not destroyed. Please do not allow and further development on this wonderful area.

Joanne Bexon (Coalville, 2020-08-20)
