The removal of the Norfolk Pine Trees at Pahi

We, The Pahi Reserve Society Inc., are petitioning the Kaipara District Council and Northland Regional Council to have the Norfolk Pine Trees located at Pahi, right by the Childrens Playground, removed. These two trees have become dangerous to the point of deteriorating branches falling into the playground, one of which narrowly missed one of the play equipment in the playground, while a child was playing in there. There is a Bed and Breakfast next to the playground which is also in danger of fa

Objection to density of social housing at 675-681 Gladstone Road and 42 Mill Road

Kainga Ora propose to build 22 units for social housing for approximately 70 residents in 2 and 3 storey buildings on the above site which is less than 0.75 of an acre in area. (See images below.) I, and local residents, have no objection to social housing and are sympathetic to the need in Gisborne but we do have concerns about the density and specifically the height of the buildings proposed. This area of Te Hapara is all one storey buildings so to have 2 storey, let alone the 3 storey propose

Make the rubbish bins bigger

This is mainly directed towards those who already dislike the new rubbish system in the Waikato. The council is refusing to listen to the peoples complaints, so action muct be taken.   The new rubbish bin system in the Waikato is flawed and doesn't take into consideration that bigger families need more space. The recycling bin is bigger than the rubbish, which doesn't help bigger families or families that use disposable nappies. The scrap bin smells terrible and will require constant and continu

Remove our waka MAMARU from the Mamaru Clinic title

Mamaru Clinic has had our WAKA name embedded in their title for years, and for years they have FAILED to appropriately serve and treat the descendants of MAMARU WAKA. We deserve better service and a much better level of care for a clinic carrying a name with so much MANA, and yet fail to uphold the MANA of its descendants...  and for this THEY DO NOT DESERVE TO HAVE OUR WAKA NAME IN THEIR TITLE - I think it's time to make a stand and protest to have the name changed and or REMOVE OUR WAKA MAMARU

As the number of these spots are low (approx 10) and are short term parks (most 30 minutes), they can be easily relocated, replaced or embedded behind the curb line. The intended outcome i
