Oppose the AGM of Te Kotahitanga Maori Reservation Trust held by ZOOM.

As a beneficiary and those who oppose the Annual General Meeting being held Saturday 19th of December 2020 by Zoom, I seek the Trustees to move the AGM to a ‘Kanohi-ki-te-Kanohi’ physical forum. According to the Maori Reservation Regulations 1994 sect.19(2a); the Trustees have breached their obligations to ensure that the Annual General Meeting shall be open to attendance of all beneficiaries or other persons whose benefit is intended. We have beneficiaries who have 'No Confidence' in a Zoom AG

Footpath for Kyle Road, Schnapper Rock, 人行道, 보행자 도로

We need children to be safe. We need a footpath along the whole length of Kyle Road. It’s the only vehicle access to Upper Harbour Primary School and busy traffic makes it too dangerous for pedestrians. It’s a serious health & safety risk. Auckland Transport wants more children to walk to school but this can’t happen without a safe footpath. We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to build a full footpath along Kyle Road.   我们需要确保我们的孩子的安全。我们需要整个Kyle Road都有

Sign the petition in support of former Mayor Powell's suggestion for the Minister of Local Government to appoint a Crown Manager to Tauranga City Council.

In the last local government elections the residents of Tauranga Moana voted for a change in leadership at Tauranga City Council (TCC).  The residents voted for leadership that reflected the diversity in Tauranga. Acknowledging first Tangata Whenua and the principles of partnership, participation and protection outlined in the Tiriti o Waitangi.  Sadly there are some councillors and residents who do not want progress or the status quo to change.  This is evident in their opposition to  Māori War

Take the option of organ donation off the New Zealand Drivers License

Did you know that only 47% of New Zealanders are willing to donate organs to those in need, 53% of new Zealanders don’t believe in organ donation because of culture or religion. The majority of the cultures that don’t believe in organ donation are Maori and Pacifica. Considering how high the rate of not believing in organ donation raises the decision on whether or not the organ donation option should be on the NZ Drivers license. We feel that the option should not be on the drivers licence. If y

Reconsider the proposed changes to the Lower Hutt Rubbish and Recycling

This petition is to show public support for a reassesment of the proposed rubbish and recycling scheme. The newly proposed scheme penalises concious consumers who make efforts to create less wastte, is unsuitable for pensioners and properties with low numbers. There are too few options with a 'pay as you throw' option sorely lacking. The council also have no good options for assisting the elderly or those with long driveways. We as the ratepayers are not happy and would like the council to readd

Make the rubbish bins bigger

This is mainly directed towards those who already dislike the new rubbish system in the Waikato. The council is refusing to listen to the peoples complaints, so action muct be taken.   The new rubbish bin system in the Waikato is flawed and doesn't take into consideration that bigger families need more space. The recycling bin is bigger than the rubbish, which doesn't help bigger families or families that use disposable nappies. The scrap bin smells terrible and will require constant and continu

Take away the parking spaces on Newton Road

The parking spaces on Newton Road are causing unnecessary traffic congestion throughout the day. (Newton Road runs between Symonds Street and the motorway) We are asking for the parking spots to be removed permanently to be in line with the rest of this arterial route running from Khyber Pass to Ponsonby Road. As the number of these spots are low (approx 10) and are short term parks (most 30 minutes), they can be easily relocated, replaced or embedded behind the curb line. The intended outcome i

Waikato Cherry Tree Festival Sep 2020

Target Waikato District Council Preamble We have trespassers to thank for the Waikato Cherry Tree Festival. The desperateness of people to get amongst the cherry blossoms made us want to share this beautiful place with the local community and people. Anne and I (Paul) thought it would be great idea to arrange various multicultural performances and get the community together to celebrate spring. The first year was 2017 and we had a great response from the community. We sold our allowed maximum of
