We are already experiencing a water and electricity problems. Putting more pressure on the grid is not going to help the problem that exists currently. We haven't had street lights in over a year . Sort these problems out first.

This will impact negativelly on the area, increasing power and water outages. Getting in and out of the area will be difficult with so many extra families. The existing home owners property values will be impacted negatively.

Amy Ackermann (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#204

The infrastructure in this area is old and already overburdened with constant power and water outages. It will negatively affect pedestrians, scholars and drivers in the area. The homes surrounding this property will also loose value due to traffic congestion.

Gail Ackermann (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#205

Its going to create over crowding and strain on the electricity grid witch we already have a problem with

Hendry De klerk (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#212

The neighbourhood has not got the infrastructure to support multi tenanted properties.

Cindy Sterrenberg (Lambton, 2021-09-28)

I'm against the building of these unit which will add more strain on the current overloaded system

Katinka Cartes (Germiston , 2021-09-28)

#251

I am signing because our current infrastructure is already under severe strain. We constantly have electricity and water outages. A new development like this would put further strain on our infrastructure and further burden US as the community. We pay for our services yet we are constantly inconvenienced by lack of service mostly due to infrastructure that cannot carry the load of the increased number of households due to new multi unit developments and all the illegal shack farming.

Tarryn Bannau (Parkhill Gardens , 2021-09-28)

The Infrastructure of Germiston cannot handle all the apartment / cluster blocks being built. Not even talking about all the extra rooms being built at every home for extra income. With maintenance not being done we cannot afford more apartment / cluster blocks.

Helmien de Vos (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

We cannot have more overload of electrical failures by allowing more units to be built.

Francesca Jordaan (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#274

I feel it's a waste of space

Ron Kruger (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#277

The additional burden on infrastructure cannot be accommodated by current infrastructure as current infrastructure cannot be maintained effectively by service departments within Ekurhuleni Metro.

Gerhard Scheepers (Germiston , 2021-09-28)

#278

Our infrastructure cannot handle any more units in this area as there is not enough water, services and power for these staying here already

Santie Tromp (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#279

Our infrastructure can not cope!!!!!!

Renee Germeshuisen (Germiston Parkhill Gardens, 2021-09-28)

#284

I am against this as the municipality cannot handle the amount of ppl already in the area and our infrastructure cannot hold or cope with added ppl to the community.

Desire Wood (Lambton, 2021-09-28)

#290

We need to protect our beautiful area

Elize Steenkamp (Germiston , 2021-09-28)

#294

I am tired of all the power cuts we are having as well as water cuts. Our system needs upgrading. Water pressure is very low. We cannot add more to it

Douglas Wood (Ekhureleni, 2021-09-28)

#299

All of the above reasons and the many other illegal buildings in Germiston.

Linda Bekker (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#300

Our area infrastructure cannot handle so many residences on an erf set up for single dwelling. We are already having huge service delivery problems.

Julie Blackburn (Germiston , 2021-09-28)

#301

Our suburb is literally choking with the existing number of homes and residents, our electrical, sanitation, road infrastructure etc just cannot carry any more residents. Ban any further developments in our area please.

Linda Schubert (Germiston , 2021-09-28)

#302

We have enough issues as it is regarding water, electricity, no working streetlights, robots not working, refuse not being collected, adding to this strain will cause much bigger issues

Ryno Laubscher (Lambton, 2021-09-28)

#304

I am in full agreement of this objection, I live on the same street and agree that we cannot cope with a complex.

Chantelle Smit (Johannesburg, 2021-09-28)

#305

This is shack farming plain and simple the residential area cannot support the added strain on the already faailling electrical, waster and sewage services. It will lead to a further drop in residential property values. There are not enough schools or hospitals to support the numbers where the infrastructure was designed for a family of approximately 4 people to suddenly have 60 to 180 in the same space.

Saville Dick (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

For the last week my house has been full of dust nun stop noise my baby is traumatised and our lungs and breaving have been affected by the dust as the mentioned property borders to my property and its a big problem for our safety

Protecting my community from illegal constructions and the strain on non delivery, water and electricity.

Wannita Davis (Ekurhuleni , 2021-09-28)

#325

I agree. Power issues and water issues is to much for this area. We are already struggling.

Rachel Abrahamsohn (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#326

Infrastructure already crippling

Cindy Van der Zandt (Lambton , 2021-09-28)

#329

I object to the development.

Charmaine van der Merwe (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#330

I’m signing this petition because the area can not take more construction for houses or anything as the infrastructure can not even remain stable for the current houses in the area as it fails weekly
Water and electricity is not capable to maintain anything more being built

Claire Schnepel (Lambton, 2021-09-28)

#335

I object to demolition of such a beautiful property to covert into multi dwellings in the area

Sheila jean Theron (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#336

I am opposed to the development of a multi unit housing facility. Infrastructure is already not coping and will be negatively affected by the additional units.

JJ Kruger (Germiston, 2021-09-28)
