I am lucky enough to still be able to work despite the pandemic because I am working in the healthcare sector. However there are more of us, who have temporary visa, that are unable to work anymore in this trying times. Yes when we came here, we ought to provide for ourselves financially, however, our own home countries are affected too. It is not our fault that this has happened, and we will not be leaning to the government if this has not happened. We are human beings too, we eat, we have rents to pay, we have monthly bills. That’s why in these trying times, we ask for assistance, this is only temporary until this pandemic is over.
