Corruption in America has been and continues to be a big problem for governmental officials. Although this issue isn't well known, it is very important because most corruption in the government takes place in smaller forms. Instead of well-known forms of corruption such as electoral fraud, there is much more corruption in the government which can be seen in personal stock market earnings. The vast influence our government officials have on us allows them to take advantage of the American people. This topic needs to be reformed because it allows government officials to use their power for personal financial gain at the expense of the American people.
