SCHOOL ACADEMIC FEES TO BE REDUCED BY 50% FY 2020-2021 IN ACCORDANCE WITH NO PHYSICAL SCHOOL DUE TO PANDEMIC SITUATION

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

     Dear Sir/Ma'am, Reference to above mentioned subject matter, we (The cluster of Parents from Std. 1st to 10th of ICSC & CBSC) would like to humbly submit our request to reduce the fees of your estimated school by 50% for academic year 2020-21 towards our ward, the prospect and request is  purely on the basis of current Pandemic/Covid19 situation. Kindly go through the below mentioned points for notion.

1.      Due to the impact of Corona virus and lockdown measures, our income has gone down drastically and families finance has been severely disrupted, though it may be own businessmen or working parents, we haven’t received the full pay/earnings from the period of March’20 till date. Also what we are receiving is needed to survive with minimum requirements along with existing financial burdens, adding up to this is, we are not even sure when we well be able to get regular wages, hence we cannot bear to pay full fees FY 2020-21.

2.      Further with the current government restrictions on movements and school closures, our ward will not be attending school physically in the foreseeable future. Though there are some interactions with teachers through distance/online learning, the main purpose of going to your school is unfulfilled. Our kids are not receiving quality education though we appreciate teachers taking efforts for online classes but desolately it is not worth paying 100% fees as there are lot of issues like, teaching methodology is not conventional at all, no proper plan or use of teaching tools (applicable standard/class wise), no host control over class due to which students doesn’t understand the content, no major learning in terms of curriculum development, etc.., This in turn has become part-time homeschooling for our kids which imposed additional financial burden on family (expenditure like laptop, mobile, internet resources, also parents need to spare time pre & post classes too, to make kids understand the context & lessons as classes are not audible mostly) while managing other home & office work, which we are understanding need of time and doing at our best) hence in consideration to above points & raised burden over parents, we are seeking assistance from school to consider relief of 50% in current years academic fees.

We would like to humbly submit that we are resolute enough on the request to get the fees concession of 50% FY 2020-21, hence any delay or no-reply towards the petition may result into we approaching the upper school management & government authorities or any other appropriate step will be taken in accordance with getting the solution.
