I believe clothes are not essential items at this time. Protect the staff so when it's all over they can return and provide the many outfits for everyone to celebrate ,party & get together

Ann Blower (Stoke on trent , 2020-03-26)

The health and safety of all the staff are absolutely at risk this is not about money this is about saving lives!.

New Look Lymedale is a clothing distribution centre supplying non-essential goods for this times. We should get 80% like government sed.

I'm signing the petition because I do not think it is acceptable for the company have us in work at this worrying time just to make a profit I have a family at home to think about and so do all the other colleagues why is it the store staff are proteced but we are not we are all one company so it should be the same for all staff it needs to close to stop the spread of this deadly virus as soon as possible as in the warehouse it is impossible to keep the 2 meter distance think of your staffs health rather than your wealth..

Lee Hammersley (Newcastle under lyme , 2020-03-26)

Because I have to travel to work and my children are both off school and my daughter who is 18 works during the week and I cannot take my son to my mothers as she is 66 and is part of the vulnerable group due to underlying health conditions.

The only thing that the dc has done differently is put an automatic hand sanitiser outside of the turnstiles on the way into the dc no extra measures apart from that plus you cant maintain the 2 metre social distancing in the dc it is impossible

All bussinesses that are not providing food or medicine should close to protect the employes and not only them, but also all the onther that they can come in contact with! I toke 2 weeks of holiday to protect myself and the others and the bussiness is still open, witch its not fair for all that are still at work, and the threat they expose.

My step dad is 69 works here and is a diabetic. He has been told he has to continue work. My mother is 70 and classed in the high risk as she has blood cancer. His continual working is putting her at an even higher risk. Please save her.

I'm signing because the Prime Minister needs everybody to do their bit and stay at home to beat this pandemic. If non essential businesses don't close there could be more people out and about spreading this killer.

Michael Green (Cramlington , 2020-03-26)

Newlook staff need the same protection as everyone else in the country. It is not an essential business in my opinion.

Clair Lilley (Newcastle under Lyme, 2020-03-26)

Sheila Chawner (Stoke on trent, 2020-03-26)

It's too much of a risk for all our safety not only for us but our families. No protection inside the dc for keeping us safe from this virus

Craig Brown (Staffordshire, 2020-03-26)

There health is more important than clothes. They should shut as primary, tkmaxx etc have shut, and sti have online deliveries

Valerie Hobson (Sandbach, 2020-03-26)

#157

I am signing because you are not an essential business. You cant expect staff to take next years holidays or unpaid leave. Discusting.

This is River Island decision after Todays government update:
"The government has said online retailers can ‘operate normally’, but COVID-19 is serious and nothing feels normal at the moment. As a business driven by the love of fashion, we don’t say it often, but some things are just more important.

Right now, we need to put our people first and so we’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily close our Distribution Centre. This will help protect our teams and make sure they can do the right thing to keep their families and community safe."
New Look can and should do the same, put colleagues health and wellbeing above profit.

Mark Smith (Stoke on Trent, 2020-03-26)
