Bring Justice for Dan Markel: Charge Charlie and Donna Adelson for his murder

We, the undersigned, urge State Attorney Jack Campbell to bring charges against Charlie and Donna Adelson, based on investigators’ probable cause to believe that they were responsible for the murder of Dan Markel. Six years ago, on July 18, 2014, Markel, an FSU professor and father of two young boys, was executed in broad daylight in his garage in Betton Hills. Investigators have clearly shown who is responsible: members of the family of Markel’s ex-wife, Wendi Adelson, and the three accomplices

We demand that St Martin-in-the-Fields reverse outrageous decision to cast out loyal musicians

For 30 years our orchestras and choirs have brought joy to thousands of people and raised millions of pounds to support the work of St Martin-in-the-Fields and the homeless. Now in the midst of a global pandemic with no consultation we have been informed by email, by the Director of Music at St Martin-in-the-Fields, that our concerts will end and that evening concerts will be mainly in-house. NO COUNTRY FOR ELITE/SEXIST/RACIST WHITE MEN

National MP, Paul Goldsmith, is an inadequate representive for our parliament and our people.  I believe he should apologise or resign - ideally both. Paul is a descendant of Charles George Goldsmith, a migrant from Liverpool who settled in the East cape area early in New Zealand's colonial history. Charles Goldsmith had four wives—two Māori (Ngāti Porou), and two pākehā—fathering 16 children. However Goldsmith has clarified that he is not himself of Māori descent, in fact, despite his Auckland

Safer streets with safer lighting

The above picture is Allen Bell Bridge at 6.15am. One of many bridges with insufficient lighting & unsafe footpaths due to lack of lighting which is hazardous. We as a community should be able to walk our streets safely, day and night without fear! Township streets should not be restricted because of the lack of street lighting. Recently I was approached and stalked by a person in a dark area which left me shaken and afraid. I’ve reported the incident to the police and have brought this upon
