Name the NorthConnex Tunnel after Jim Adams.

This petition is to show support for the naming of the NorthConnex Tunnel after Jim Adams who lost his life during the construction of the tunnel on May 23rd 2017. To name this tunnel after a well respected man is a small token of appreciation for both the memory of Jim and his family.

Open up Ports of Auckland to the public

The Ports of Auckland wants more space. Why should we allow that?

Re-establishing the Waikiwi BMX Track

Myers Reserve in North Invercargill Waikiwi features some BMX ramps and the skeletons of an old BMX Track.  The track was used and enjoyed by kids around the area in the 80's and 90's. Unfortunately over time it has grown grass and the old ramps need some repairs. The Invercargill City Council have not had a lot of Public interest or community support for getting this BMX track back up and running.  I know it was loved by many and could be enjoyed my many kids and families in the future if it wa

INSTITUTE A CURFEW FOR AUCKLAND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

We the undersigned request that Auckland Council, through the proposed Auckland Unitary Plan and section 9 of the RMA, institute a curfew at Auckland International Airport. The requested curfew is between the hours 10pm and 7am. We consider a curfew has become necessary due to the current changes to flight procedures over Auckland and the planned significant increases in traffic through Auckland Airport. The hours requested are identical to those prescribed by AIAL for Smart approaches. Therefor

Waikato Cherry Tree Festival Sep 2020

Target Waikato District Council Preamble We have trespassers to thank for the Waikato Cherry Tree Festival. The desperateness of people to get amongst the cherry blossoms made us want to share this beautiful place with the local community and people. Anne and I (Paul) thought it would be great idea to arrange various multicultural performances and get the community together to celebrate spring. The first year was 2017 and we had a great response from the community. We sold our allowed maximum of

Mandeville Path between McHughes and No. 10 Roads

In our community, we have the gorgeous Mandeville Village and well-supported Swannanoa School. Unfortunately, bike or walking access to both these sites is not particularly safe or enticing due to the often unkempt and difficult-to-bike-on grass verge between McHughes Road and No 10 Road - particularly for children/ families in the wet winter months. I have secured an opportunity to speak to Council next Thursday to request consideration of this project in their upcoming Draft Long Term Plan 202

TE WIWI NĀTI HAPŪ CLUSTER PETITION: THE ROAD

Our road from and between the Kaiinanga Hill to the end of the Tikapa and Awanui Roads is often unsafe and inaccessible, especially in the wet months.   Whānau still live in that valley, and people travel in and out daily for work, for school, or to visit other whānau. We are often not able to attend our marae hui. The Ambulance and Fire Services often can't attend emergencies there.   We are asking that the Gisborne District Council repair the road.  No more short-term patch-ups.   We need our

Prosecute Brian Tamaki for breaching public health order.

Brian Tamaki publically breached the law in organising the anti lock down protest. He selfishly acted against the public of New Zealand. He has risked the lives of the vast majority of community minded citizens. Destiny Church has received $127,867.20 in wage subsidies from the community taxs and the community needs to send him a message that his behaviour is not acceptable. New Zealanders have sacrificed so much, upto and including the lives of loved ones to protect our country and Brian Tamaki
